Epilepsy Awareness Session

Epilepsy Action are hosting an online awareness session in conjunction with NICS WELL on Wednesday 26th January, available for all NICS staff. 

Epilepsy is one of the most common serious neurological conditions in the world. It affects over 20,000 people in Northern Ireland alone. This means that almost 1 in 100 people in NI have epilepsy. Epilepsy can affect anyone at any age and from any walk of life.

This one hour introduction to epilepsy will cover:

• Epilepsy facts and figures
• Seizures
• First aid for seizures
• Living with epilepsy
