Orchid  - Fighting Male Cancer

Every day in the UK, 136 men would have died from a male form of cancer - that is at least 5 men per hour. Over 50,000 men are diagnosed with these male specific cancers and these numbers are rising, with prostate cancer predicted to be the most common form of cancer by 2030. Other male cancers include penile and testicular.

Men’s reluctance to talk about their health is an ongoing challenge. Workplaces offer a key opportunity to get men talking and learning more about the risks, the signs and the symptoms.

This talk will cover information around symptoms, self-checking and what to do if you have concerns. This talk will be delivered by Orchid Male Cancer Information Nurse, Rob Cornes.
