Sarcoma Awareness Campaign - Great British Picnic 2022

Sarcoma is the general term for a broad group of cancers. These types of cancers begin in the bones and soft tissues. They are quite uncommon cancers but can affect any part of the body.

Sarcoma affects around 15 people per day in the UK. This equates to around 5,300 people per year. The rates of Sarcoma have been gradually increasing over the last two decades. Around 78% of people will live up to a year after being diagnosed with Sarcoma. In addition, the five year survival rate is 55%.

This year, Sarcoma UK encourage you to take part in their Great British Picnic Campaign to help raise funds and awareness for Sarcoma UK. Reunite and get together with your friends and family and host your very own Great British Picnic!
