Public Services Live 2020- Fermanagh House

On the 6th of February, The WELL team attended the first ever ‘Public Services Live’ event in Fermanagh House, Enniskillen. This event was open to everyone in the NICS. It aims were to showcase the great work being done by the NICS in collaboration with there public sector partner to deliver vital service.

 The day had a fantastic buzz around, and we were more than happy to be provide our services to the day. The WELL team completed both Health checks and Resilience talks for NICS from AERA, DfE, DfC and DOJ.

The health checks were complete by Our Nurse Joyce who screened cholesterol, blood glucose and blood pressure. Declan our Healthcare provider competed comprehensive body compositions test, this included analysis of total weight, fat %, visceral fat, muscle mass, total body water %, bone mineral density, and metabolism analysis. These health checks provided insight in to the NICS health and where appropriate provided advice to improve ones health.

Kieran the NLP practitioner, from the WELL team, completed group talks  with the emphasis on building resilience within your life, insight to your personality and mindfulness within your life.

Other highlights included an informative session entitled "Cyber Security – a shared responsibility”, the ever-popular "Pensions: Confused - is this you?" and a presentation showcasing the work of the NI Prison Service – “Prisons Unlocked – leading from the front line”.
