Sperrin House Macmillan Coffee Morning

Ciaran McLaughlin

Sperrin House in Omagh once again raised an amazing total (£545) for Macmillan’s 2019 Coffee Morning. Jackie McSorley on behalf of the staff team commented “All of us know someone affected by Cancer and thus we understand how cancer can affect people’s whole lives – health, money, family, job; everything. We know that £546 can pay for a Macmillan Social Care Worker for a week, helping patients, family members and carers manage the social and practical problems of living with cancer. That was our target and we’re really delighted we achieved it.”

Sperrin House WELL Champion Ciaran McLaughlin added “Since Sperrin House got involved in the Coffee Morning over the years £2,500 has been raised by the staff. On behalf of all staff, I want to thank especially the organisers, picture left to right Jackie McSorley, Elizabeth McIlwaine, Irene Gormley and Lorraine Donnelly.
