25Nov

Awareness Day

Support for Carers from The Charity for Civil Servants

The Charity for Civil Servants' Carer’s Passport and Carer’s Statement Digital Tool is quick and simple to complete and reflects your needs as a carer, helping to prepare you for a conversation with your manager.

When you complete the Digital Tool, you will:

  • get a record of your answers that you can use to complete your Civil Service Workplace Carer’s Passport
  • receive a Carer’s Statement (if you request this) to use outside the workplace to communicate your needs to healthcare professionals
  • receive a personalised Action Plan with advice and signposting to additional resources that may be helpful to you or the person you care for
  • get access to a wide range of information, support and services available outside the workplace.

The Charity may be able to help you in other ways, including additional costs that can be incurred due to caring responsibilities, such as transport, fuel, equipment, respite breaks and technology.

The Charity for Civil Servants supports all current, former and retired civil servants throughout their lives, listening without judgement and offering practical, financial and emotional support.
