DfC in coordination with the WELL Programme are providing an Yoga pilot to get their staff up, moving, and energised!
WELL Programme instructor Ciara will take staff through a gentle introduction to Yoga and slowly build it up over four of weeks.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.
Yoga combines 3 elements, the body, breath and mind. This aim of this WELL beginners session will be to slow down all 3.
Creating space in the body with gentle movements known as asanas. Moving with the breath to help create flow and as the class progresses the busy mind will follow and slow. The session ends with a five minute relaxation.
DfC Beginners Yoga starts on Wednesday 24th February, and runs for four weeks every Wednesday evening. We will also run these sessions on a Tuesday lunchtime at 12:30pm, and if you’d like to register for these sessions as well click here.
