Mouth Cancer Awareness Seminar

21Nov

MS Teams

10am - 10.45am

Over the past two decades, cases of mouth cancer have increased by 113%, yet public awareness of its signs and symptoms remains low. More than 10,000 people in the UK are now diagnosed each year.

Early detection is critical — prompt investigation of any concerns can make a life-saving difference. In this session, Joss will explore the signs, symptoms, and key risk factors for mouth cancer, highlighting how improved awareness can lead to much better outcomes through earlier diagnosis.

For those already living with or recovering from mouth cancer, Joss will also address the long-term effects of treatment, which can often be physically and emotionally challenging, and discuss how healthcare professionals and communities can offer effective support.
