On the 9th October Sands who will provide an information session on who they are, and the services they provide. It will discuss how to support colleagues who have experienced bereavement.
The event is being hosted by Sands and is in conjunction with NICSHR and the ongoing development of bereavement support services across the NICS. Pleased be advised this session will be recorded. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support.
For more than 40 years, Sands has been there for anyone affected by pregnancy and baby loss to offer understanding and comfort through its Freephone helpline, mobile app, online community and resources, and locally through a UK-wide network of around 100 regional support groups.
