Sepsis Awareness with the Sepsis Trust

Every year on the 13th September, we celebrate World Sepsis Day, with countless events organised to raise awareness of sepsis all over the world.

Sepsis kills over 48,000 people every year in the UK which is more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer combined yet many people are still not that familiar with it.

If you would like to know more, then join us for an informative and engaging session focused on Sepsis Awareness — a critical condition that requires fast recognition and response.

This session will include expert insight from The UK Sepsis Trust Lead Support Nurse Oliver Jones, who will explain what sepsis is, share key advice on recognising the early signs of sepsis and improving outcomes through timely intervention, along with the vital work The UK Sepsis Trust does to support those affected.

We’ll also hear a powerful first-hand account from someone personally affected by sepsis, offering a lived experience perspective that highlights the real-world impact of this life-threatening condition. This session is an important opportunity to improve awareness and gain some insight and knowledge that can potentially save lives.
