World Wildlife Day is an annual event celebrated globally on the 3rd of March, to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservations and the need to protect endangered species.

To celebrate we have secured an online session with Mark McCormick, a Senior Campaigner at RSPB. Currently working on a campaign for nature friendly farming in the UK.

The session is available to all staff and can be accessed via the MS Teams link below. Those wishing to attend should discuss doing so with their line manager in the first instance.

World Wildlife Day Awareness Session, taking place on Monday 4th March at 2pm. The session will be held on MS Teams and will last approximately 1 hour.

During the session Mark will talk about some of the projects he has worked on with key species and habitats, and some of the conservation techniques deployed. He will also give some tips on what you can do in your own garden or backyard to help nature – no garden is too small!
