We are delighted to announce that we are opening registrations for Steps2Fitness Spring 2021
Our first Steps2Fitness challenge has been extremely successful with 600 participants taking part and to date over 285,808,050 steps have been taken. Many of our teams have worked together and have covered the distance around Ireland already with some completed more than five times around the route. For Steps2FitnessSpring 2021 we are going to journey together from Chicago IL to Santa Monica CA across the historic Route 66 in the United States of America (USA). Participants walk in their own areas and then send their steps to their team captain. Each team has a maximum of five people. The team captain combines the steps from each team member and send the teams’ total weekly count to our Steps2Fitness co-ordinator. The challenge will begin on Monday 5th April 2021 and will last for 12 weeks.
Each Steps2Fitness participant will receive a WELL Hoodie for taking part in the challenge. This will be awarded at the end of the Challenge upon our receipt of the twelve weeks of step counts. Please note that hoodies will be sent to NICS buildings only.
There are 500 spaces in total for Steps2Fitness 2021. All those people who had been placed on the reserve list for the first Steps2Fitness have now been contacted and asked to complete their registration.

You can register your interest as an individual or a team. Please note that anyone who has participated in the current Steps2Fitness Challenge around Ireland cannot compete in this Steps2Fitness Spring 2021. We would still love you to post your walks on our Facebook account as it really motivates other to get out, explore their local area and exercise whether they are participating in the challenge or not.
Register as an Individual
If you are registering as an individual email Ruth (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name and contact number and we will assign you to a group.
Register as a Group
If you would like to register as a team please email Ruth (email@example.com) with your name and the name and email addresses of those people you wish to enter.
There are a maximum of five participants per team. It would be ideal if you could register participants in groups of five where possible.
If this is not possible and you have less than five people we will add people into your team to fill the spaces.
If you have more than five people we will assign one group of five; the extra people will be added to a mixed group. For example if you register eight people we will have one group of five and the extra three will be joined by two other people.
