Stop Smoking Services in the Western Trust

Giving up smoking is one of the best things you can do for yourself, with benefits for your health, your appearance, your finances and your relationships, but it isn’t easy.

Did you know 18% of adults in Northern Ireland smoke but that 80% of these smokers want to stop? If you are one of these people, there is help available. The Western Health and Social Care Trust (link is external) offer a free and flexible service to anyone keen to stop smoking provided by specialist stop smoking practitioners. They are easy to access and have a lot to offer including:

  • Individual / group support
  • A location that suits you
  • Specific advice and guidance on stopping smoking
  • Prescriptions for stop smoking products if required
