Understanding your Bereavement:

Is a group session for up to 20 people per group, who have experienced a bereavement. The session will last for up to 2 hours and provides a safe and welcoming space to think about your own grief. It provides an overview of bereavement, looking at how it can impact you, how your life will grow around your grief and in many cases it helps normalise your grief and helps you understand what you are thinking or feeling is normal.  The session will be delivered by 2 experienced bereavement support staff who work in Cruse Bereavement Support.

Attendees will increase their understanding about the journey of grief, explore feelings around loss and develop an understanding of what grief may mean for them as an individual.

During the session, self-care and coping strategies will be shared to increase attendees’ ability to manage and cope with their bereavement, as well as building resilience for the future.
