Hi I’m Mairead from Cookstown Jobs & Benefits Office, DFC. I started my career in Ballymena Jobcentre in 1982 and to present have spent my working life in Jobcentres/Jobs & Benefits Offices. I am now currently a Team Leader responsible for the First Contact Team in the delivery of Universal Credit. I look forward to being a Well Champion and am excited about being involved in Health and Wellbeing events.

Hi, I’m Ciaran McLaughlin from DAERA (RAD) in Sperrin House Omagh. I started in DAERA in 2004, working in various Funding Programmes since then. My current role is Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) project officer, a role which is varied and very interesting. My main responsibility is, in collaboration with other Departments and Agencies, to assist in addressing important local and regional poverty and isolation issues for rural dwellers. I am also one of the Well Champions in the Department and I look forward to being involved in the organisation of Health and Wellbeing events in partnership with the wider Well team.

Hi, I'm Michelle and I am the new WELL Champion for Laganside House! I currently work on the 3rd floor in the Enforcement Of Judgements Office. I have been in the DOJ for 24 years, 20 of those in the EJO. I am very interested in health, having a positive outlook and mental well being. I have 3 children. 23, 21 and 8years old and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I go to the gym (when I can) and try to eat well.... everything in moderation is key and look forward to taking on this new role.

Hi I’m Claire and I work in Account NI, in Goodwood House in Belfast. I have been in the NICS for 31years and as I get older I realise the true value of being “well” and having good health, both mentally and physically. I am looking forward to working with the other WELL Champions in Goodwood and hoping to pick up a few tips along the way that I can share with others.
