Hi, I'm Barry I’ve been working in Foyle JBO for 17 years. I have only recently taken up the role of Champion here in Foyle JBO. I am really looking forward to getting started with the Well Team hopefully this will benefit myself and all my Colleagues.
Hi I’m Jill and I work in the Corporate Engagement Team in the Department for the Economy (DfE). I’ve worked in DfE – and been based in Netherleigh - for about 14 years. I’ve always had an interest in health and wellbeing but, following a period of poor health where I was out of action for almost a year, I am now seriously committed to taking care of myself through my diet, exercise and a ‘healthy’, balanced lifestyle. In my spare time I like to keep really active – I love dogs (and love nothing more than ‘walkies’ with my own 3 furry kids), I am a professional pianist and I train at the gym several times a week. When the opportunity to become a WELL Champion arose I knew straight away it was something that I wanted to be involved in and really hope I can make a positive impact.
My name is Debra McNerlin, I am a Work Coach in Limavady Jobs and Benefits Office. The majority of my work is with Universal Credit claimants but I also deal with legacy customers. We were the first office to go live for Universal Credit and my colleagues and I found this very challenging and a year later still are. I am interested in ‘Wellbeing’ and practical advice, hints, and tips especially to deal with work-related stress in our ever-changing work life and would then like to be able to cascade any useful information to my colleagues.
Hi, my name is Kieran and I have recently taken on the role of a Wellbeing Champion within CMS in Great Northern Tower. I have had a few roles within the CMS business and NOT IN Operations as part of the Premises Team. I am currently in the Arrears section within CMS Operations so I have a varied background in the business. I am looking forward to getting to grips with the role and assisting colleagues in any way. I have taken an increasingly active interest in my own wellbeing over the last few years and realise the importance of doing so and want to actively encourage colleagues to do the same.
Hi I'm Clare! I am WELL Champion for DSO - The Departmental Solicitor's Office. I'm new to the role and delighted to be spreading WELL's important message to all the staff here. From health checks to monthly messages and talks to mark landmark events like International Men's and International Women's Day, WELL shows that NICS cares about its staff and their physical and mental well-being.
I'm an avid (if not very speedy) runner, fuelled by plenty of chocolate :). I can often be seen hoofing around the tow-paths, particularly during Couch to 5K season and love the opportunity to meet people and run with them. I also enjoy reading, baking and music.
