Hi, I’m Christine from NIEA, Natural Heritage Directorate based in the Klondyke building at the Gasworks Business Park. I joined the civil service many years ago and have primarily work within the DOE. During my time I have come to value the importance of health and wellbeing in the work place and look forward to working with the wider well team.

Hi, my name is Jeff and I am a WELL Champion based in Adelaide House in Belfast. I have been a Civil Servant for over 30 years now and I currently work in the Corporate Services Team on the Accommodation and Facilities Management side of DfE. I have an active interest in promoting health and wellbeing for staff hence adopting this role and am a keen sportsman who tends to watch more sport than actually doing it these days but I’ve been enjoying the Steps 2 fitness walking challenges whilst walking the legs off my Cockapoo, Milo. I look forward to helping promote health and wellbeing in the workplace alongside my fellow Champions!

Hi I’m Joan from the DfE careers services based in Crown Buildings Ballynahinch. I have been working in Ballynahinch Job Centre carrying out a variety of posts since August 1990. I have spent the last 8 years as a Careers support admin officer. This is a small office with only me and a careers advisor. I also travel to Bangor Careers on a regular basis offering careers support to the team of 5 careers advisors that are based there.

Hi I'm Siobhan and I work in Careers in Newcastle Job Centre. I started in Careers as support staff in April 2010 and I work with schools and training organisations to ensure that all clients receive relevant information on courses and training programmes. I am also a WELL Champion in the Department and am looking forward to being involved in the organisation of Health and Wellbeing events

Hi, I’m Helen and I’m the WELL Being Champion for all DAERA staff in Academy House, Ballymena. I’ve been with DAERA for quite a few years now. My main job duties include vouching Admin claims for the Council Clusters in the current Rural Development Programme, answering the phone and the general day to day running of the office.
